v19. This is really good! Soft white pepper and cedar nose. Fresh, deep, rich black fruit licorice. Tight, chewy, smooth, long, slightly astringent, dried herbal spice and mocha finish. Nicely balanced. — 3 months ago
Earthy with some tobacco notes, very smooth and the right amount of residual tannins. Very bold aroma and just enough richness to back it up. — 5 months ago
Still a good cab but not as good as previous vintages. A bit unfortunate, but this wine has gone full blown super market class. — 2 months ago
Dark purple, earthy and brambly…chalky tannins…reasonably balanced acid/tannin relationship. Reminds on southern Rhône. Very good. — 3 months ago
Wonderful and soft flavor. Highly recommend. — 5 months ago
2013 vintage. Overtly decadent, überripe and spent when tasting just after decanting. No sediment. Initial temp tasted was at about 60 degrees F. Rated an 8.8. Beyond golden color in the decanter. Prepared an ice bucket ice bath with double linen napkins atop the remaining ice and placed the decanter roughly 25% into the ice bath. Let sit for 20-25 mins. Retasted. Wine temp was closer to 45 degrees F. Completely different wine. Tasted like a top-notch, 10 year old Meursault with ridiculous amounts of vanilla bean and crème brûlée. Slight undercurrent of acidity wove the entire endeavor together. Now? A 9.4. Not my style but it didn't suck. 11.15.23. — 5 months ago
Deep golden color with a citrus undertone and distinct minerality, if not oyster shells. Delightfully pleasant wine. — 2 months ago

Beautiful golden hue. Creamy, Wildflowers, grapefruit. Probably the best Viura on the market. Cheers — 25 days ago
