It is always great to revisit a classic. This is one of the best representations of Rivera del Duero as a whole, composed of fruit from select parcels and vineyards from the DO; it always exudes opulence, the body is full, the tannins are grippy and the finish lingers. — 2 months ago
A big wine in a big bottle that made a big group of friends very happy. The 2017 Evangelho Heritage (from magnum) is energetic with loads of sweet dark fruit. It doesn’t lack zing even though this year’s blend is short in Carignan — there are nice balancing acids and mild tannins. It is richer and riper than many vintages but still vibrant. — a month ago
Cranberry, strawberry, sassafras. Chocolate cupcake. High toned. Light bodied. Easy to drink. With depth and character. Very good! — 22 days ago
Well-made single varietal cabernet grown near Monte Bello. Smooth blackberry and graphite. Round and medium weight mouthfeel. Less complexity given the single varietal but made with finesse. — a month ago
Deep Ruby color with aromas of dark fruits, flinty spice, floral and oak notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry and plum with notes of espresso, cacao and licorice wrapped in oak. Firm tannins, great old world balance with acidity, full body, long finish ends with fruit, oak, spice, and earthy mineral character. — 2 months ago

Somewhat of a dessert wine and post dinner vino. This wine held up with great fruit and complexity. Really nice follow on to 25 year old CdP and high end champagne. Held its own with good concentration and depth. — 7 days ago
