Stunning. None of the palate gap I’ve had in other frühburgunder. Huge fun in a blind lineup. — 2 years ago
Vintage 2015 | Frühburgunder makes me uncertain when to drink it? Very young within two years, are can it be kept and develop extra taste...? Enfin, this Ahr wine has a elegant smell at age six years. With caramel impressions and lovely raspberry. Also elegant and vibrant in taste. Paired with a burger. — 3 years ago
Almost has the fruity nose of a Beaujolais - some of that popping fresh red fruit and a hint of bubblegum.
Nice balance on the tongue of tart ripe fruit and acid. Some oak to give it all a little sense of maturity. — 10 days ago
Frühburgunder or Pinot noir précoce. Picked this up from Seeger, drove home, opened and started drinking. Immediately appealing with red- and blackcurrants, smoky background notes and balanced acidity. Keeps getting better and better in the glass. Simply put: delicious! — 2 years ago
What a wine. One of my favorite red wines in the world. Crazy nose of pungent violets, deep cherry fruit and insane spice. The violets are so so intense. Wow. 9.7 nose. Sick. So so good. Palate is so velvety and sweet but needs air but my goodness this will go into Mach 5 in an hour. So fresh, so pure and so balanced. Amazing class and length. Genius. With air this gets downright seductive with a silky texture and so much finesse. — 5 months ago

Age that Fruh! At 10 this is really coming into its own Gorgeous nose of wet earth, spice and desiccated leaves and tree bark. An interesting citrus note as well. So expressive. Just a stunning nose. The fierce tannins of this have calmed down and it’s an ultra silky and has superb concentration and awesome mid season cherry fruit and some blackberry overtones. Sweet tannins and exceptional length. Air is always this wine’s friend. — 6 days ago
