Cork giving out but why not after 19 years! Wine is escaping to fresh beauty with a little wet dog age that I like.
Holding her space in 2025
80% Zin, 16% Petite Syrah, 4% Carignane
14.7% is reigning it in on this varietal and well done! Doesn’t feel fire breathing at all 👏 — a year ago
As close to perfection as can be..,, smooth, silken, 2-minute finish. Nose of ripe, preserved, wrinkled apples…complete, complex, hints of baking spices, lighter than anticipated, but packing that 80 proof wallop. I anticipate most of bottle will grace a cool winter evening in front of the fire for 2 couples! — 3 years ago
Very smooth, full bodied! — 4 years ago
Clear, deep ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with medium intensity primary and secondary aromas of blackberries, cassis, and graphite; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, full body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of black cherries, blueberries, black cardamom and bell pepper with a long finish. This wine is complex and intense. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. — 2 months ago
Great wine, taste is chocolate, oak wood and dark red fruit, very nice at meat and dessert, enjoyed at fire place. — 2 years ago
2015 is reporting for duty. Balanced with brighter fruit and acid with cassis, plums and pencil elements. One could drink this with a variety of meats, fowl and fish. This wine is locked and loaded and ready to fire. — 4 years ago
Pale purple in color.
Strong nose of black currants, plums, light oak and chocolate notes.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with red and black fruits, light wood, spices, coffee, earth, dark chocolates, tobacco leaf, herbs and peppercorn.
Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This Single Vineyard Syrah from Walla Walla Valley is much lighter than I expected it to be. Engaging and interesting. Complex, fruit forward and easy drinking. A nice sipping wine.
A blend of 97% Syrah and 3% Viognier. Grapes were fermented with wild yeast in concrete vats and aged in neutral French oak barrels for 22 months. A small production of less than 3,500 bottles.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Nose was not showing much. Primarily plum, some cassis, earthy, mushroom, log fire, lots going on. Nice mouthfeel, medium finish. — 3 years ago
Litt kjeller, ikke mye. Lite tanniner, ikke bitter. — 4 years ago

Big plum, blackberry, and dark cherry flavors. Black pepper. Plenty of zippiness. A bit of earthiness. Delicious with pizza. Excellent wine. — 3 days ago
