2019 vintage Jan 2025 with homemade pizza. Very solid and tasty wine. — 3 months ago
Great wine, taste is chocolate, oak wood and dark red fruit, very nice at meat and dessert, enjoyed at fire place. — 7 months ago
As close to perfection as can be..,, smooth, silken, 2-minute finish. Nose of ripe, preserved, wrinkled apples…complete, complex, hints of baking spices, lighter than anticipated, but packing that 80 proof wallop. I anticipate most of bottle will grace a cool winter evening in front of the fire for 2 couples! — 2 years ago
Nice dark color, full body, character consistent with story, with smoky notes. Definite repurchase at under $20. — 3 months ago
Nose was not showing much. Primarily plum, some cassis, earthy, mushroom, log fire, lots going on. Nice mouthfeel, medium finish. — 2 years ago
2015 is reporting for duty. Balanced with brighter fruit and acid with cassis, plums and pencil elements. One could drink this with a variety of meats, fowl and fish. This wine is locked and loaded and ready to fire. — 3 years ago
Violets. Tar. Black fruit. Def peppery. Minerality but ripe fruit. — 3 years ago
Rubychick
Cork giving out but why not after 19 years! Wine is escaping to fresh beauty with a little wet dog age that I like.
Holding her space in 2025
80% Zin, 16% Petite Syrah, 4% Carignane
14.7% is reigning it in on this varietal and well done! Doesn’t feel fire breathing at all 👏 — 6 days ago
