Had the 2022 in September of 2024. Really enjoyed this year. Some pear and honey along with a something floral-maybe hibiscus? A hint of lime on the finish. Really enjoyed this one. Paired with a white Coq au vin but would drink this one again with just about anything. — 8 months ago
Dang, this is a good Chardonnay! White burg is one of my fave styles, and this certainly meets it. Floral, grassy nose. Green apple and preserved lemon peel. Pale, clear color. Crazy, focused mouth-watering acidity and dry, dry minerals. I haven’t had too many pure Swiss Chardonnays, but this is the alpine Graubünden style I like. Thanks @Lyle Fass — 4 months ago

My favorite pairing at Talvo. Fruity, untannic wine with secondary characteristics as well. I like this wine far more than other reviewers, it seems! — 7 months ago

Nose: White grape juice, pineapple, perhaps a dash of guava (?), orange blossom, caramel, yogurt, gentle flowers (white, fruity flowers), white tea, honeycomb, graham crackers. Smooth, much less acid than expected. Honestly just tastes like a sweet white wine. I am less impressed than I expected. Good, not superb. Tastes like honey, pear, pineapple, marshmallow (vanilla), gentle acidity, a little bitterness, short finish. Kind of disappointed, I love Sauternes. This is atypical. — 4 years ago

So so dense. So tight. So coiled. So elegant. So concentrated. Structured. Checking in tomorrow. Nose is so floral, a day later. Very mineral and so expressive. Palate is enormously complex, chewy and dense. My goodness the density of this wine is just insane. It’s barely budged overnight. Fleshier, yes but also there still is more to come. Day 3 awaits. — a month ago
