Crisp, mineral with lovely nose. Great bottle at Bar Mario — 3 years ago
Wow. What a great wine.
Nose is gorgeous white flowers.
Palate is so clean and mineral. Great thrust. Some linear richness. Great density.
Very good. — 4 years ago

Pop and pour, and this was excellent; wish I had bought a lot more. On the nose: soft honey, lemon lime, soft vanilla: transparent oak influence?, but nevertheless charming. On the palate: good acidity, wet stone, oily lime, nice finish. Disappearing quickly. — 6 years ago
Uniquely mineral. — 7 years ago
Always a great wine and after yet another wonderful day in the wine business it’s hitting the spot. Nose is very wet stones, lemon peel, some jasmine and more. Gorgeous and clear. Palate is elegant and lemony with terrific ripeness and sweet lemons on the finish and wonderful harmony. Needs air and it will gain body and cut. — a year ago
Arneis-like but at 13$ not. Erbaluce, the unpopular kid on the Piedmonte block, but the consumer gets the reward! Pale yellow w green tint, all kinds of waxy white & green fruits on nose, edamame?, and a palate of those fruits with a very thick ground of minerality. Kinda cuts through the middle between high acid & a broader mouthfeel. Could easily pair with all kinds of food- imagining everything from Indian curries to falafel based cuisine. — 2 years ago
Super easy to drink, with a refreshing acidity and hint of minerality. Nice bouquet. As someone else wrote - a great little white! — 4 years ago
This quite remarkable. Erbaluce is not a very noble variety, but this wine might have you think otherwise. Perfumed lemon oil, mint with a waxy or oily texture. Med to light bodied with a surprising persistence. This is like sunlight in the glass. — 5 years ago
First time trying Le Piane.. well not strictly true, we had a glass of their Erbaluce at the beginning of the evening. Both wines were fantastic. Was introduced by a beautiful restaurant in the mountains (Villa Pizzini). Delicious. Shall be sourcing once back in the UK. — 6 years ago
Nose of green apple and lime rind. The palate exhibits salinity and minerality with green apple, lime, and underripe kiwi. Light bodied, high acid, medium plus finish. — a year ago
So. Damn. (Elegantly). Crushable. Rangpur lime, a petrol-y olive oil, memories of a summer fruit pie, a sprinkle of tarragon, crisp mineral-y tang that fades into a beautiful calcium carbonate lime zest finish and a hit of aromatic joint…oh, wait… — 4 years ago
Terroir forward peppery and punchy reminds of timorasso less rich more acid — 6 years ago
A bit of mineralality and salinity, complex but not overly barnyard. A true delight. — 7 years ago
