Arneis-like but at 13$ not. Erbaluce, the unpopular kid on the Piedmonte block, but the consumer gets the reward! Pale yellow w green tint, all kinds of waxy white & green fruits on nose, edamame?, and a palate of those fruits with a very thick ground of minerality. Kinda cuts through the middle between high acid & a broader mouthfeel. Could easily pair with all kinds of food- imagining everything from Indian curries to falafel based cuisine. — a year ago
