At 14% alcohol and a medium to medium plus cherry color this is a big #burgundy wine. Gevrey is always a little bit bigger than other villages, but this wine in particular and especially side-by-side with the Savigny-Les-Beaune seems particularly ripe and rich. I really love everything they are producing. Beautiful complex wines. I find these have much more in common with great Côte de Beaune Chardonnay than they do with simple lemony flinty Chablis. It has that saline clam shell Chablis aspect but tempered with great use of oak. — 4 months ago

A regional 100% Chard sourced mainly from Côte d’Or (the Côte de Beaune and the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits), and Mâconnais deemed as Edouard’s house signature and sensible price point. Truly “à la mode” Chard that combines freshness of citrus, lemon and orange, with elegance and subtle aromas of mandarine peel.
