Drank over two days. Closed up to start and also very loyal to this producer’s style who picks very late. Powerful bodied and extracted but opens up with dark fruit, some spices, structure and powerful tannins that start to soften up. A nice bottle, but now very expensive for what it delivers and a style I now appreciate less and less. 89-90

Bu sur deux jours. Fermé au départ et fidèle à ce producteur qui vendange très tard. De crops assez puissant, un style assez extrait aussi mais qui s’ouvre heureusement avec des épices, du fruit noir, de la structure, des tannins puissants et une longueur appréciable. Une belle bouteille au final, mais pas un achat avisé avec les prix d’aujourd’hui malheureusement, compte tenu de ce style que j’aime moins. — 4 years ago
