Domaine Supply Royer

Digioia-Royer

Bourgogne Rouge Pinot Noir 2019

Still fairly purple in color. But, this is delicious! Big hit with the guests. Shockingly good and phenomenal QPR. — 5 months ago

Dehlinger Winery

Estate Bottled Russian River Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

A lot of smokiness with a bit cedar, green pepper but not a lot of fruits but some was in there. Color was so dark all the way to the edge. Think I need to drink up a bit more and reduce my supply. — 2 years ago

Royer Pere & Fils

Prestige Brut Champagne Blend

NV | a tasting at Brabantse Wijn Sociëteit opened my eyes for champagne from the Côtes de Bar, like this one. 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir. Made with 20% reserve wine. It’s bouquet is its greatest quality: refinement, brioche, yeast and beautiful fruit like peach and apple. Good acidity. Paired with scrambled eggs breakfast. Merry X-Mas. 🎄🍾 — 2 years ago

Royer Vineyard

Estate Vineyard Eola Amity Hills Chardonnay 2019

Mark Royer's inaugural vintage. Very Burgundian. Clones include Dijon 76, 95, and 548 among others. Elevation 600-700' which is relatively high for OR. Soils are a mix of Ritner, Witzel, Nekia, and Jory of volcanic origin. South and West slopes. Mesoclimate: "Very windy".

Underrated stuff.

Tenuta La Fuga (Attanosio)

Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2014

Medium-dark clear ruby color; nose of ripe blackberries, dark cherries, raspberries, garden spices, anise; fairly high alcohol and acid, dry, small firm tannins, long elegant finish in a very typical BdM style. I went all-in on the -15s and -16th so my supply of -14s is limited. This one a winner! 🥇 — 3 years ago
