Exactly as you would expect of an AOC SR from a best in class producer. Dried cranberries, Shitake mushrooms, black tea, raspberry leaf. — 17 days ago

Medium plus purple in color; strawberries, black cherries, and cola on the nose; medium plus acidity; medium tannins; tastes like tart cherries, raspberries, crushed gravel, and a hint of bell pepper with a long finish. I love this wine. Nellie likes it. We both think it paired really well with seared tuna. — a month ago
Tarter and more tannic than ‘21 but somehow maybe thinner? Either way, another delicious wine. — 24 days ago

2020. I believe this is my first Romorantin based wine, so I read through the tasting notes here and was excited to try it. Rich orchard fruit, good acid, and definitely get the oxidized sherry-like notes some mentioned. Paired with snacks while watching the Masters. Not quite their Pimento Cheese Sandwich, but my goat cheese stuffed roasted red peppers and black olives went great with the wine! — 17 days ago
