Perfect Example is my favorite Sauvignon blanc. Had in wanaka — 7 years ago
On first tasting this wine it was noticeably saline and mineral/gravel on the palate. Also notes of citrus and white stone fruits. Oak influence is subdued - matured in 350 litre oak barrels. Overall a great balance between austerity and opulence. Points off for a ridiculously heavy bottle. — 3 months ago
Very savory, underbrush, herbs, and pencil shavings, with dried red fruit. Interesting cus apparently this hasn’t seen any oak. Medium body, fine tannins, and nice lift. — 4 years ago
Eye opening! Didn’t know Cohors wine could be this awesome. Bold yet elegant. BlackBerry, mint, fig. Very smooth transitions. Knocked my socks off — 6 years ago

Lemon Yellow in colour. Aromatics of citrus, apple and white daisies (Barb). Very delicate on the palate with those aromatics of citrus and apple coming through with minerality. A touch of salinity to finish off. Like most PYCM bottles this is way too heavy. — 8 months ago

Wow, what an undervalued wine! So aromatic, rich mushroom and foraged raspberry. Warm ripe fruit so well balanced with high pitched acid. Doing lots of nice things for my brain. Love this region and this style! ⛰🍄🍓 — 8 years ago
