Asian pear, blended citrus and hints of ginger on the nose that become intensified on the palate with the addition of bruised apple and a slightly oxidative undertone. Toasty with a whisp of maritime influence. Jo does sparkling beautifully. GR8 value. — 5 years ago
Fruity flavorful champagne. Jo Anne’s 66th birthday. — 6 years ago
This is a notably vibrant style of Muscadet with crisp acidity, loads of lemon, green apple, pear and melon. Despite being sur lie the wine has a very clean, lean feeling on the palate. Great with scallops — 4 years ago
This wine is in the sweet spot now and probably has a couple of years to go. — 7 years ago
Domaine Jo Pithon, Savennières 2021 chenin blanc
I love chenin and more specifically from Savennières... Honey, green apple and chalk on the nose. Very fresh and acid driven palate, some width, some nice mouthfeel with almost a grain, a long fresh apple-y finish that goes on for ever. What's not to like here? — 2 years ago
one of the best values in the wine world. Citrus, wet rock, bracing acidity. — 5 years ago
Only dark purple, subtle fruit nose, slight tannins and oaks with a mild residual sugar finish. Exceptionally good! — 6 years ago

Really good. A bit tight. Prob needs decanting. I’m too lazy. Dark fruit with that meatiness one hopes for. 2022. — a month ago
