On opening, quite savage and bloody with an incredible saline note under the fruit. Next impression is a lingering minerality. Next impression...deliciousness. There end the notes. I just kept pouring.

Vincent Paris is consistently a norther nRhône bargain that should be gobbled up by the case. The '13 has black currants, white pepper, and refined saline and blood notes.

I'm 2/2 with this producer. The St Joseph is lighter and fresher than the Conas granit 30, but there's an alluring peppery, savory profile on both.

I appreciate that it isn't all iron tame and balanced. Very approachable

The body is lower here, but the nose rides this line between super pleasing meaty, pepper notes and then also egg/sulpher. Not old enough yet.

2013 vintage. This is easy to like, hella gamey on the nose, syrahtastic. There is a chewy on the palate with a solid wall of flavor that put me in the mindset of southern rhone meets piemonte. Chewy and flavorful, this calls for some meat with serious iron content
