Sep 6th, 2013Decanted 60-90 min. Aromatics are in a great place right now. A punch of violet is followed by black pepper and a whiff of bell pepper. Tannins are well integrated on palate...more violets, dark berry fruit, rocks. An obvious and excellent pairing with both duck and venison. Lacked a bit of length but otherwise delicious.
