Wow this was delicious perfect for a late winter Sunday night meal of roasted chicken with an orange and Bayleaf sauce over Carolina gold rice ❤️❤️ The nose on this wine was amazing: all red fruit and prettiness and the palate followed through just the same... hard to not guzzle 😂 — 21 hours ago
The 2017 Hosanna was one of my favourite crus from Ets J-P Moueix from barrel. Now in bottle, it remains a delightful Pomerol. It has a generous and beautifully defined bouquet with ample red cherry, crushed strawberry and light black truffle aromas that are actually reminiscent of Bélair-Monange. The palate is medium-bodied but denser, thicker than its peers. There is real substance to this Hosanna that puts the relatively lightweight Certan-de-May in its place. It shows good grip with a saline finish. This is a deeply impressive Hosanna. Rejoice! (Neal Martin, Vinous, February 2020)

Another Valentines Day treat after the Ruinart. Dark dark Ruby in colour. Trademark Wendouree menthol/eucalyptus also some mint, gravel, blackberry and a tarry creosote element. On the medium to full bodied palate there are concentrated berry tarry and. Mineral flavours. Wonderful texture and tannin regime. Barb found the wine a little porty and I must admit not everyone goes gaga over Wendouree. From vines planted in 1893 and 1919. — 12 days ago
A nose of vanilla and plum.
Cassis and tabaco, prune, preserves, licorice. Roasted fruits over cedar staves. This wine is a very solid C-D-P, with elegance and finesse, and just a touch of heat.
Such great wines. Lucky to find this one at a sub 30$ price point. Yum! — 17 days ago
A real treat so delicious and ready to drink great Q/P — 22 days ago
Great p/q. 2016 clearly a standout year in Chianti. This is brilliant ruby, with a pure sangiovese nose - leather, red and black fruit, spice, and forest floor. Med bodied, clean strawberry and red cherry with silky mouthfeel. Then a solid lick of superfine tannin bring grip and length. — 6 days ago
13’ HDV Ysabel Pinot Noir. Decanting is still needed (45/60 minutes) A dense ruby/purple color as well as a big sweet nose of blackcurrants, black cherries, forest floor. Rocking complexity to the core. No need to hold on to these wines. Perfect spot after a short decant. Love this PN. — 2 months ago
