Blackwell Barossa Shiraz 2020

First 2020 probably needs more time but still an excellent Barossa Shiraz. Dark ruby, purple in glass, nice earthy aromas on nose and mouth filling on palate. A good bold Aussie Shiraz package. — 6 days ago

Lionheart of the Barossa Shiraz

This is my go-to wine after work or as a night cap. It is smooth and soft… so easy on the palate. Everyone loves this wine. — 24 days ago

Mother's Milk Shiraz 2019

Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Aromas of blackberry, tar, forest floor and black licorice. Flavors of dark plum, blackberry, dark chocolate, baking spices and black cherry. Long velvety finish, balanced acidity and smooth tannins. Fruit forward and bombastic, but also nicely textured and somewhat savory. Excellent value. — 2 months ago

Keyneton Euphonium Barossa Shiraz Blend 2020

2020 Vintage. Les bought it for me for Christmas 2024 and that’s when it was tasted like a $35 bottle. — 8 days ago

Barossa Shiraz 2021

Intense aromas of dark cherry, chocolate and blueberry. Abundant on mulberry flavors, mocha and fresh cut beets, a bit hint of medley jelly, mouthfeel is on the fresh side of dark fruits with solid taste of cacao coating on the back end of the palate. Not overly lingering finish. — 2 months ago

Barossa Valley Estate

Barossa Valley Grenache Blend 2020

It is full of ripe red plums and polished earthy notes of game and soil. The plate is considerably spicier, with drips of black pepper and drops of olive brine. It is totally tasty and easy to sip (slowly) solo, but it would be even more prime with food. — a month ago

Torbreck Vintners

Woodcutter's Barossa Valley Shiraz 2021

So jammy on the nose, fruit bomb for sure. Blueberry, boysenberry, and blackberry bramble. Notes of charred wood and meat. A hint of eucalyptus. Nice spice. Medium acid, high alcohol and medium plus tannin. I think it would do well with a few years and a nice barbecued hunk of meat. — a month ago
