Extremely enjoyable. Very expressive and deeply characterful on the nose and palate. The fruit leans to very ripe apple and pear, cut with some sweet, ripe Meyer lemons and orange blossoms. Toast, vanilla and baking spices compound the whole experience. With all that said the balance and underlying freshness keep it all together perfectly. Thought this was really nice for the price. Went great with our Goat Cheese Fennel Sausage pizza on the smoker. A bit of cherry, smokey, and tar on the nose. Sour Cherry and stewed fruit on the bud. Nice finish. — 3 years ago

Mineral, faint blue fruits, big structure, this Julienas (from the same producer as the 2017 Bottiere I just posted on) strikes me as a very different style (I would never have guessed the same producer, without looking at the back labels), this is leaner and will need some further aging to really shine!! — 3 months ago
