Nice fruit and chocolate leather like hints. Enjoyed a bottle at Willamette Wine Works in Folsom. — 4 years ago
Really an excellent Pinot noir from Sancerre. After my wife and I took a sip we both exclaimed that we need to start buying more Sancerre rouge - just a great quality / price ratio, especially for Pinot noir. This is ruby red, with a dusty cherry nose. A touch restrained on the palate with lots of minerality coming through - great cherry notes on the palate, long finish. Really nice. — 7 years ago
Dark Ruby translucent, full bodied with dark red fruits, cherries and tobacco, tannins are subdued, could do with some maturing — a month ago
Lively, pure, complex nose. Smoke, sage. Minerals. Chalky texture — 3 years ago
Reticent nose, fine tannins, still very primary, very enjoyable but better to wait another 10 years for this. — 5 years ago
First time with this grape. Acid! Herbaceous and peppery. Really nice — 7 years ago

Mineral, faint blue fruits, big structure, this Julienas (from the same producer as the 2017 Bottiere I just posted on) strikes me as a very different style (I would never have guessed the same producer, without looking at the back labels), this is leaner and will need some further aging to really shine!! — 4 months ago
Thought this was really nice for the price. Went great with our Goat Cheese Fennel Sausage pizza on the smoker. A bit of cherry, smokey, and tar on the nose. Sour Cherry and stewed fruit on the bud. Nice finish. — 3 years ago
Extremely enjoyable. Very expressive and deeply characterful on the nose and palate. The fruit leans to very ripe apple and pear, cut with some sweet, ripe Meyer lemons and orange blossoms. Toast, vanilla and baking spices compound the whole experience. With all that said the balance and underlying freshness keep it all together perfectly. Drink now or up to 5 or maybe more years. — 4 years ago

Loved it, surprisingly smooth and silky.
Great floral taste. — 7 years ago
Just about perfect... — 7 years ago
Wood, prune, blueberry nose. Nice thick sharp feel on tongue. Catching the Berry along with leather and wood. Would be fantastic with red meat. — 8 years ago

vintages 2023/2024 in one bottle | Biowine from the rather obscure Jasnières, 90 ha divided over 30 vintners | chenin blanc at its best: razorsharp smell with impressions of almonds. Fruitiness in taste with a balanced acidity and bitters | drank this on the hottest day of summer with our local simple salad ‘ Slaoi meej juin meej aai meej èrrepel’ | makes happy — 4 days ago
