Nice nose. Plummy. Spice, cherries, some hints of mushroom. Nice. Palate is rich and ripe with good concentration and purity. Great precision as well. Last bottle was pretty meh. Loads of spice on the finish. Really balanced and shows a great side of 2009. — 12 days ago
Vinho Verde, rosé, $9; it's an easy category to conquer. This settles out a little bit at a couple years past current vintage. Cold cherry skin and grape seed on the nose. Under-ripe strawberry and light orange rind on the palate. Mild acidity is great for a warm summer afternoon. — 25 days ago
Pale lemon with medium intensity aromas of stone and tropical fruits with slight creamy spice notes. On the palate melon, pineapple, lemon, peach fruit with notes of vanilla spice. Medium finish. Vivid acidity ending a bit creamy with mineral and sweet spice notes. Drink now, no benefit from any bottle age. — 3 days ago
Retiscent nose that is slightly nutty and chalky with some fresh lemon juice and a whiff of gunpowder. On the palate reminds me of a high quality muscadet with fresh squeezed lemon, some tart yellow fruit notes including yellow apple and maybe some yellow nectarine, a distinct smoke ( but not the coche duty like sense of the first bottle, underlying flowers, and tangy acidity. Some undertones of nuttiness and oxidized characteristics but they are integrated and in place. Still well structured, but does not seem as nuanced and deep as the last bottle.

White florals, pureed ripe yellow and under-ripe green apples, hint of candle wax and lightly lingering petrol notes. Still a fun wine, but not the same as it was in a more youthful age. Solid QPR at $9, just enjoy within ~2-3 years from vintage. One of our many value wine aging experiments. — 16 days ago
All great roussanne fruit but not cloying nice acidity clean and balanced — 15 days ago
First impression of the aroma is strawberry shortcake with fresh cracked black pepper on top. Tomato leaf and thyme also emerge.
Ripe, juicy strawberry and cherry start things out followed by black pepper, black tea, and thyme. Great length with medium acidity and slightly dusty, well integrated tannin.
A way too easily drinkable, elegant, complex CdP. Love this stuff. — 5 days ago
