Mag! Last of 6 that I bought back in 2014 for $15 each. What a steal and has aged so well. 100% Syrah. Dark purple, black plum. blackberry, olive tapenade, med tannins. — a month ago
Very light nose , almost can’t detect . Light tannin but lingers in the back of the mouth and keeps the mouth warm. Pleasant wine with nice cheese — 2 months ago
Cab like with peppery finish — 2 days ago
Randomly opened and wow such an interesting wine. A perfect combo of velvet and iron with earthiness and sweet dark fruit plus savory notes still present with 18 years of bottle age. Saved most and will taste and share with Lun tomorrow. Next day: just as compelling. A complete wine. Wonderful. — 2 months ago
Cote du Rhône blend of Grenache (60%) and Syrah (40%). Deep garnet color with a ruby core. Aromas of red and black berry fruit, garrigue and baking spices. Same fruit flavors (very ripe) with notes of black licorice, black pepper and vanilla. Medium-plus finish and well balanced acidity. Smooth texture and tannins. This wine expresses the two varietals in the blend beautifully. Exceptional quality for the price. — a month ago

Concentrated fruit, soft, and a bit of spice -
Some of the best value CdR out there, sourcing fruit from around Southern Rhône!! Jean Louis Chave expertise at an entry-level price.
This was a young wine but 2022 was a good year: Extreme drought vintage resulted in lower yields and concentrated, freshly acidic wines. — 4 days ago
