Terre de Vertus 1er Cru Brut Champagne Chardonnay 2010

Paired with vegan Fried Chicken from Atlas-Monroe. Significant mousse. An absolutely gorgeous wine with a powerful mix of citrus and tropical fruits yet finishes utterly dry (this is Brut Nature after all) with a fascinating touch of salinity that charms the senses. I loved how this wine accurately represents the ripeness of the vintage and yet the character of Vertus is omnipresent. What a fantastic Champagne and one I would love to revisit down the road a ways. — 22 days ago
