Hanging with Charlie. This was such a delight while we waited for the Pegaü to open up a bit. This started off with marzipan and green apples but after about an hour of air (and warming up a bit), it started to show toasted brioche. So much life and so much verve! What a treat! Gorgeous! Starts off with a lively nose of butterscotch and lanolin. Lovely persistence on the palate. Shifts to lemony goodness then back to butterscotch. Amazing wine! Perfect with sushi.
