Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2015 pours a crystal clear, pale straw color with persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with bright green apple, star fruit, citrus tree blossom, lemon curd and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finish is long. This is a baby but there’s already a lot of material here. The texture is extraordinary. Expect a long life ahead. Fruit sourced from 3 parcels located in terroir of Les Chetillons at Le Mesnil sur Oger, 100% Chardonnay. Pale golden lemon color with frothy mousse and lively bead of bubbles. A nose of fresh fruit with yeast, nutty notes and floral scents. On the palate flavors of peach, apricot and lemon citrus flavors, floral with biscuit tones. Great balance with acidity, delicate textures, long finish ending creamy with toasty smoky oak and chalky mineral biscuit character. Nice! — 4 months ago
