From Tuscany’s Val d’Arno di Sopra, in the hills east of the Chianti Classico region. This is very friendly and pure tasting. Nose has gorgeously pure, ripe Sangiovese scents of dark cherry, along with some gentle spice and minerally gravel scents. Focused and concentrated fruit in the mouth, forceful but soft and balanced. Not a great deal of complexity, but lots of flavor and purity. — 2 months ago
2024/7/20-21. Aromatically this starts out pretty brown - lots of toasted spice and earth. With air it does show flashes of the deep, smoky cherry one might expect, and it’s still very enjoyable, but I can’t help wonder if this bottle (which I bought on sale) might have been a little worse for wear. I usually love Graci’s wines, and something felt a bit off… — 4 months ago
2010 vintage. Excellent vintage. Very smooth no aftertaste. One of the best Brunello’s I’ve ever had. — 9 months ago
Beautiful wine from a beautiful winery in the hills of Tuscany. — 4 months ago
Always drinks well. Tough to follow Poggio di Sotto though. Darker, cherries, figs, organic bark. — 3 months ago
Sono sorpresso di alcolcota (sopra 15%). Ma cominque e' molto buono. Era perfetto per la cena di sukiyaki, hotpot giapponese. — a year ago

Very much alive and in it’s prime - cherry leather, pipe tobacco, dried herbs. A little fig and fennel. Silky smooth tannins; better the next day! — 15 days ago
