Oracle Clare Valley Shiraz 2004

Very interesting. Inky black color, I mean black! Sweet lavender nose, probably employed new barrels in the cellar with an immense amount of full bodied and powerful blackberry, blueberry and whatever berry! It’s very Australian and very good. — 3 days ago

The McRae Wood Shiraz 2013

Dark garnet with medium+ aromas of black fruits, spice and cedar. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry, cinnamon and cedar with some dried berries and mushroom notes. Full body with vivid acidity, medium tannins on lingering finish ending with dried fruit and oaky notes. Very Nice, can still age a bit. Tasting Sample. — 19 days ago

Clare Valley Cabernet Malbec 2002

Aromas of Iodine Earth Menthol/Eucalyptus, Bark of Medium plus Intensity. On the palate red and black savoury fruits which fill every corner of the mouth. A full bodied old school Australian Cabernet blend of amazing intensity coming from those ancient vines in the Clare Valley. Wendouree is an Australian vinous treasure which @Ceccherini Cristiano and I post about from time to time. The wine finishes with ultra fine persistent Tannins. I have not always been a fan of Wendouree (see previous Delectable notes) but this is an excellent wine. They probably need at least 15 years before they start to hit their straps. — 16 days ago

Esoterico Riverland Clare Valley White Blend

Really good wine, especially for the price. An orange wine with just enough skin contact to add an interesting texture and aromatics, while also remaining clean and drinkable — a month ago

Siegersdorf Rhine Riesling 1991

Absolutely drinkable and interisting to confirm that with the 1991 vintage here downunder we can pretty muchswallow down everything.
Not oxidased yet just a touch earlier
Lost the freshness, but great complexity
From medlar jam to candied ginger without a big deal of cherosene which I don't particularly fancy anyway
Broad, but compact and fleshy
Delicate and powerful
