So much spice on the front of the tongue as you sip, jammy stewed blackberries, good tannins that pull the moisture from your mouth, and a spicey tingle that just lingers. Andrea said to drink with all the BBQ'd meats, so with steak tonight and brats on 4th of July!

On the nose: At first this came across a little herbaceous, with a hint of rubber. After that, things opened up and smelt a little jammier. Taste: very nice - refined fruit, well structured, smooth tannins. Liked this a lot.
