Deep red fruit, cassis, slightly dusty. Explodes at first, then recedes with time. Wow. — 5 months ago
1985 vintage. A nice surprise and another testimony to the ageing potential of the great 1985 vintage. Still a solid colour at 37 years old. Smoke and cedar wood, good concentration of dried fruits and spices. There is complexity and length, well worth seeking out if you like older wines. — 2 years ago
Blend of 60% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep Ruby red color with aromas of dark black fruit, and a slight herb nose. On the palate flavors of blackberry, currant and raspberry, with tobacco and herbs. Fine grainy tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, spice and a touch of earthy mineral notes. — a month ago
The 2011, absurdly good, the structure was woven and perfect, and the combination of red fruit and richness and earthiness was absolutely heaven. — a month ago
Loved this. My #1 pick in recent blind tasting. Great for price point, bought a case. — a year ago
