This one, on the other hand, did smack me in the face with a surprising streak of lean almost metallic minerals cutting through. — a year ago
Not a 1er Cru, but it should be! Lovely Vosne. Velvet, sappy cherry fruit with Vosne spice. Hints of vanilla and stones. A whiff of oak char on the nose, but less so on the palate. Decanted for 2 hours prior to consumption. — 5 years ago
From a lieu dit surrounded by Gevrey. Definitely young but with a couple hour decant quite enjoyable and accessible. Tons of sweet cherry on the nose; aromatically really quite intense. Full on the palate, get more tannin than I was expecting, but very nicely balanced by a lot of acid. Enjoyed it with a roast chicken provencal but could have stood up to red meat too. Nice qpr at ~$30. Note this is not the “cuvee unique”, which apparently a 100% new oak bottling - this is the regular which is 85% old. — 6 years ago
Nice clean, balanced wine. Roundness that ends in an acid pop at the finish. One of the more complex wines of this variety that I have had. — 7 years ago

Smaller small nose of strawberries. Initial taste of pears and strawberries. A quick mild tart finish of light berries. Very soft b — a year ago
Strawberries and cherries. A little bit of smoke. Very pleasant on the tongue and not too heavy tannins — 6 years ago
Always sultry, always glorious. Stanky late season cherry fruit, hint of barnyard funk that only adds allure. Palate is so full of fruit it’s ridiculous. Juicy and sleek, with unreal purity and freshness. 22 nails that freshness with decadence so well. Very pure and mineral. Wonderful tannins that suggest this is built for the long haul. Long finish. — a year ago
Butter popcorn heaven. Although late in the evening, was described as ‘eye opening’. — 6 years ago
