2023 vintage. First go-round with this producer. Decent concentration and nose. Light-medium body. Tried two other 2023 rouge Pinot efforts from this producer and this was the best of the lot. Sour cherry on the nose & palate. Flat, tart front that quickly becomes a beautiful smoked raspberry, leather, blueberry, currant, violet, & milk chocolate. Medium bodied with a medium acidity. Doesn’t linger on the palate. Light and easy to drink, yet complex enough to pique my interest. — 5 years ago
