Careful use of oak, pleasantly surprised by this SA Chardonnay.

Wet stone, well balanced acid with nice roundness. Paired with spicy fried rice and grilled zucchini with chili vinaigrette. So good!

Bottle says it is barrel-fermented but don't taste the normal "buttery" taste in oaky Chardonnays. Crisp & light.

A nice drier subtle chardonnay wine. Used it in a recipe for Coq Au Vin & it was fantastic!
