Raspberry jam. Plum acidic. Herb . Antonin GUYON Pernand Vergelesses 2019 @5060, Umem JH, 230910-240216 — 8 months ago
2012 vintage. From Coravin. Light-medium body. Coming at you, in both nose and flavors, with the earthy, leathery, darker fruits trifecta. Ample tannins and definitely dry but enough balance lingering, long-term concerns under the rug for now. Had I been blind-tasting this, likely woulda guessed Pomerol. Definitely lacking any betraying trace of St. Émilion fleshiness now. 5.9.24. Really nice, affordable bottle of BDX with 10+ years of age on it. I'd hit this again. 5.9.24. — 2 days ago

Not an expert in burgundy but I liked it a lot. It was a risky bottle that was stored in unknown conditions. 2009 drunk in 2024. Nevertheless, it showed great balance of acidity, sweetness and tannins, although somewhat disassembled structure. Power manifests itself when you sip but not for long. First notes were lac and leather, then periods of quietness, but then evolved with fresh oaky notes, then jammed wild strawberries, and then freshly crushed ripe blueberries. Overall evolution was not long but did driver very very pleasant experience. — 4 days ago
