Moulin-à-Vent AOC extends from the town of Romaneche-Thorins to Chenas. Ruby color with aromas of dark berry fruit with notes of sweet spice and floral notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and currants with licorice, floral, spice and earthy notes. Fine dusty tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, spice and mineral character. — 8 months ago

Bright garnet color with ruby highlights. Aromas and flavors of ripe red berry fruit. A pleasant “stemmy” green quality along with an earthy/mineral note. Long finish and nice dry tannins. Purple-grenat dress, semi-deep, beautiful shine. Deep herbal nose, more than fruity, smoked breeding note, earthy, sweet spices, pepper. Light body, with material and intensity to withstand several years of aging and still evolve. Has not yet reached full maturity. At D+2 it expanded. A fairly sober, but promising, Beaujolais on guard.

Robe pourpre-grenat, semi-profonde, bel éclat. Nez profond végétal, plus que fruité, note d’élevage fumée, terreux, épices douces, poivre. Corps léger, avec de la matière et de l’intensité pour supporter plusieurs années de garde et encore évoluer. N’a pas encore atteint sa pleine maturité. À J+2 il s’est étoffé. Un Beaujolais de garde assez sobre, mais prometteur. — a year ago
