A blend of 65% Cab Sauv, 20% Cab Franc & 15% Merlot, note more CF and no Petit V as in prior years. Deep Ruby with aromas of black and red fruits and sweet vanilla cedar aromas. On the palate black cherry, blackberry and plum flavors with vanilla, tobacco and oak spice. Smooth and refined tannins, long ending with sweet earthy tones. Wow!! Need to decant! Tried twice, Wow! — 2 years ago
🔥 love this stuff, legit NC CF which I’ve had through the years and it is just getting better and better. Such freshness, vivid flavors: just picked cherries, florals, sweet herbaceous notes, white pepper, varietally correct. Med weight, structured but pliable tannins, juicy acidity really conveying flavors thru to impressive finish and all for $15 — 2 months ago
This site says “Robert’s Blend” but my bottle doesn’t say BLEND. Great tasting CF, one of my favorites. — 6 months ago
Phenomenal not sure if it’s because I haven’t had CF in a while. So delicious, dark fruit, wood, etc. — 2 years ago
A surprise addition of the night. A great blend, about 75% Cab, 14% merlot with CF and PV filling in the remainder. Plum, blackberry and fig show through nicely. Touches of vanilla. — 2 years ago

We thought this was Sangiovese from outside of a recognized DOC, but I guess it’s CS/CF blend. Lots of red fruit on nose: cherry & strawberry, herbs, pepper, quite dusty early on, really needed time to unwind. Earthy, brambly, kinda gnarly, this really evolved over the night. Med weight, dried herbs and red fruit on the mid-palate w/supple tannins leading to modest finish. Interesting, definitely showing some maturity, but unusual given the varietal composition. — 2 months ago
