Really showing well. This was a complete well rounded mouthful of wine. The cabernet franc flavors certainly add a scrumptious and interesting enhancement.

Was perfect with a fatty big strip steak. Dark fruits, dark chocolate, espresso, vanilla, tar/licorice.

Big and ripe. Starting to settle down. Red and blue fruits, vanilla, big tannins.

Dense and ripe, with dark berries and tobacco and finish on vanilla. Felt heavy handed on the alcohol. Hold or decant.

Dark fruits. Some cedar/spice. Slightly over-extracted.

12 Morlet Coeur De Vallee. All To Kalon Fruit. 75% cab 25% CF . Upon release this was drinking! Now...I’m thinking some of my 12’s need to sleep for a bit. Leave it alone for six months or more.

Starting to see the tannins integrate nicely and the angles starting to round out. Restrained power and fruit but it’s all under the surface and need a decant to open ups properly. Darker fruit followed by a touch of mocha and tobacco.

2hr decant. A great balance of hedonism and restraint. The ripe powerful fruit is there but after 7yrs the tannins have really integrated and it was silky smooth. Almost too well balanced to a fault. Paired well with the 1kg ribeye block.

Big, bold Napa blend with the finesse of a French Bordeaux. Gorgeous long finish
