Cesanese do Affilé, a great Lazio varietal. Herbal, earthy, acidic. 2019. Massimi Berucci family. Slavonion oak casks. Natural, spontaneous fermentation with its own yeasts. Thank you Alex! — 4 months ago
Another local volcanic wine. Absolutely delish, very dry ending — 3 days ago
Surprisingly bitter for a light “pinot-like” grape. Needs time to fully open (duh). — 2 months ago
Fresh leather, cherry, ash, oak and licorice. Really enjoyed drinking this — 2 months ago
Old world wine with new world profile. Oak present. But with Italian acidity. Great QPR. — 3 months ago

Funky, almost vegetal nose. It’s as it wants to be red/brown and can’t decide.
Or…has decided to be both.
Lively mouthfeel with prominent acidity.
Neither light nor heavy. Long aftertaste.
Almost ruddy. Nice reddish brown coloration. Keeps asking you to come back.
