Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

This 11 year old GSM blend from Châteauneuf-du-Pape feels still young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 years.

I've had a few vintages of this wine and it is very consistent.

Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.

A blend of 40% Grenache, 30% Mourvedre and 30% Syrah. Aged in large French oak barrels for 12 months.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

Wish I had the patience to cellar this but it’s brilliant already. So unique, incredible almost grainy texture and mouthfeels. Sappy and vibrant on the one hand but deep and savoury. Lovely stuff. — 2 years ago

Bright gold. Abundant nose of baked apricot. Echoed in the full palate which adds orange rind, dark peach, and a slight hint of stony mineral. Medium acidity; just enough to keep it food friendly. Otherwise it's nicely rich in the mouth and slides smoothly into the lengthy, palate-continuing finish. Rich seafood and poultry dishes are the call to order here, especially with cream sauces. A really complex white at a decent price for the appellation. Drink now through 2025. — 3 years ago

An 18th century chateau, overlooking the Isle valley, facing Pomerol and the Saint-Emilion limestone hillsides, belonged to the same family for three centuries took over by Michel Rullier in 1955, and his daughter Brigitte took the helm in 2002. Dark Ruby with an array of berry aromas and smoky scents. On the palate plum and cherry flavors with cacao, tobacco and smoky cedar notes with herb spice. Firm chalky tannins, long finish ending with earthy mineral notes. Still tasting ok, but drink now! — 6 years ago
