Just as good as the Chablis. Worth getting again! I think we got it at Gordon’s in Waltham. — 3 years ago
Super - green apple, minerals, dry and some honey finish — 4 years ago
Sue and I enjoyed this wine from Trader Joe’s. It is quite dry - almost like a white. — a year ago
No hint of oak or butter yet delicious without them. Smooth and complex. — 5 years ago

Christmas eve with the inlaws. Traditions dictate that you eat 12 dishes consisting in fish (herring, carp), cabbage stews with mushrooms and peas, and a hug range of veggie salads in mayo. No meat so I had to bring white wine. No real notes but it's a typical chablis nose with mineral notes and white fruits. There is a good acid drive and it goes super well with the fish dishes.

Such pretty, gulpable Pinot fruit. Very pure, ripe cherries with just a hint of sap, velvety and evanescent in the mouth at first, but getting clingy, deeper, longer, and earthier with air. Delightful with lighter dishes or just to rehydrate after a workout (doing both duties for me tonight!) — 2 years ago
This actually ended up being a really interesting Thanksgiving wine. 40% Gamay, 40% Chardonnay, and 20% Mondeuse. It ends the white or red question with a “How about both?” Light, high acid. Citrus, cranberry. Simple, but highly drinkable. Allows the food and company to take center stage. — 4 years ago

This is the Celine Cote Bourgogne Epineuil Rouge, from a town up near the Chablis region. Popped and double decanted to separate a little sediment already forming. Nose is super-bright, crisp but sappy cherries and moist limestoney soil notes. Nice intensity and juiciness in the mouth. There are zingy acids too, and a little soft, whisky tannin buried in the fruit. Really nice purity. The finish is dry, long, and turns quite mineral. What a nice value this is. — 16 days ago
