One of the better one's lately. Been slacking with updated tastings. — 2 months ago
This is such a seductive wine. It opens lush and creamy, with exuberant peach, asian pear, mango, and pineapple notes which dance around the palate. The opulence is abruptly and violently washed away by a Tsunami of acidity and mouth puckering citrus tones which power a long, resonant finish with stony mineral flavor. It is so silky, so powerful, and so light. An arresting combo. The nose was similarly exciting with a vivid floral top note. The QPR at $24.95 is off the charts, and I am going back for many more — 4 months ago

In Haskell’s Thanksgiving box. W liked, slightly sweeter than Clean Slate but really well balanced. — 3 months ago
bold flavored orange wine with the right amount of funk — 4 months ago
Sweet apples, pears, and a bit of petrol. With lemon and acidity and salt. — a year ago
Citrus spray in slo mo - like a 90's OJ ad on Channel 4. Or the one for all-natural counter cleaner. Bergamot, clementine and bitter lime pith. Granny smith and cool flinty smoke. A hanging honey note transitions without much of one into a textured Meade-like experience. Riesling shines with honey. Doesn't give but for a ruby grapefruit bitter bite.
Excellent in smaller doses because damn acid can tire a fella. — 3 years ago

It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix.
Deep purple/ inky in color with a short purple rim.
Strong nose of black fruits, cedar, vanilla, licorice, light earth, herbs, spices, tobacco, chocolates, mocha, light perfume, cola and peppercorn.
Full-bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate and very fruity, with black plums, black currants, blackberries, dark chocolates, coffee, cedar, vanilla, leather, spices, light earth, herbs, peppercorn and tobacco leaf.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This young Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley is already very approachable and good right out of the bottle. Nicely balanced with a beautiful nose.
Complex and fruit forward. Rich and extracted. Elegant with a nice mouthfeel.
Better after a couple of hours of airtime, when more earth notes show up to compliment the fruits.
I've had a few vintages of this wine, and it is very consistent. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
A good wine to pair with a big piece of steak, but also a nice sipping wine.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
14% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
