This wine is a recent find, but I love it.....so much rich dark fruit....needs a lot of breathing time to really mellow out, but pairs wonderfully with porterhouse. — 2 months ago
05 Falcor Syrah was greatly enjoyed in Feb 2021 with prime filet. This wine was completely closed in when opened and I was concerned it may have been over the hill, but after 1.5 hrs of breathing time, it blossomed into a lovely silky smooth wine. Kudos to Falcor for creating a prized wine from a finicky grape. — 2 months ago
This was a very good bottle of wine that improved through the meal as it had more time to breathe; however, I am not sure that I could have identified this as a Zin if I was tasting blind. No pepper notes at all. — a month ago
I was pleasantly surprised by this wine having had no history with it. Lots of dark fruit in nose and taste. — 2 months ago
This has been a long time favorite. We used to go to some fantastic parties at Gus Anderson’s house. This 04 still had plenty of life and dark fruit in it. — 2 months ago
This has long been a favorite chard; however, I was a bit underwhelmed by this vintage. I am am a fan of buttery chards with great mouth feel. This vintage is definitely on the lighter side with more bright citrus notes — a month ago
This wine was phenomenal....I have long thought that 2007 was the baseline by which all other vintages should be compared — 2 months ago

Extremely good wine even when first opened. After an hour of breathing, it complimented beef tenderloin perfectly — a month ago
