Domaine Zind Humbrecht

Brand (Turckheim) Grand Cru Riesling 2005

Thought we had the last bottle a year ago but realized we had one more. Really very nice - a sort of time capsule wine, taking you back nearly two decades with the depth of amber color and honeyed flavor. So well balanced, with the secondary round fruit giving way to nice acids (more than I recall on the bottle a year ago). Fun one for sure. — a month ago

Reserva Cune Rioja Tempranillo Blend 2018

Blend of 85% Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha, Graciano & Mazuelo, aged for 18 months in French and American oak (previously 24 months), deep Ruby color with aromas of complex fruit, spice, oak and forest floor. On the palate flavors of dark berries, licorice and cacao with toasty oak and herbs. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak and earthy notes. Drinking well now!! — 8 days ago

Cune Gran Reserva Rioja Tempranillo Blend 2017

Early picking for the ‘17 vintage, and it shows with fresh acidity lifting the well extracted black fruits. Still quite primary at year 7.
Very good value for a Gran Reserva.
