Blend of 60% Grenache, 30% Tempranillo & 10% Graciano, aged for 6 months in used oak, for this debut offering, deep Ruby with aromas of red fruits, floral and spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and red plum with licorice and floral spice. Medium+ finish, fine tannins, good acidity balance, ending with fruit and mineral character.

For their first ‘organic’ wine, they tilted more to Garnacha & not the Rioja typical Tempranillo. It’s an odd experience, since I’m so used to drinking the latter from Rioja. This has more of a bass note with some floral edges- I like it, but just not in a Rioja exuberant way.
