Fruit forward on the nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing sweet cherries, raspberries, blueberries, black currants, plums, chocolates, light oak, earth, cola, herbs, spices, light vanilla, licorice, peppercorn and tobacco leaf.

Nice tangy finish with soft tannins.

This 6-year-old Zinfandel blend from Sonoma County is drinking at its peak. Spicy and fruit forward. Elegant and juicy.

Great right out of the bottle, but even better after a few hours of air, when the complexity really comes to life.

The alcohol is very nicely integrated by now. Easy drinking and nicely balanced. A great sipping wine.

So delicious and balanced. Deep cherry and red berry fruit on the nose, with warm gravel and a hint of sweet vanilla. Deep flavors in a lively frame in the mouth. Nice acids and a slightly chalky feel from those Carignane country-boy tannins. — 3 days ago

Resolved, velvety M+ tannins. Ruby fruits of; blackberry pie, black raspberries, blueberries, both plums, dark cherries & raspberries. Dark chocolate bar, slightly moist tobacco, sandalwood to barrel shavings, dry top soil, dry crushed rocks, black licorice, sweet tarriness, dry herbs, light cinnamon, clove, vanillin, mocha, dry, volcanic clay, dark, withering flowers, some lavender framed in violets, excellent round acidity with incredible, balance, perfectly tensioned, softly structured, elegance finish that lasts a full minute. — 9 days ago

Probably still a little young, but otherwise a really great bottle. Dark transparent ruby, with a woody-er edge to it. Some cherry pie, herbs, baking spices and tar aromas. Strong structure, making it feel young. Pretty large body for an Oregon Pinot! Going to age well for awhile. — 22 days ago
