Some earthy, fungal notes not all will appreciate. On the positive side, it has pleasant mossy, woody notes. Sips have full texture/mouthfeel. The bouquet is only slight spicy. Overall it’s a delightful wine that hits all the right rioja and Tempranillo notes. It’s a good accompaniment that won’t overpower or compete with other dishes. I enjoyed it with beans and pork tenderloin and would have again with most any other dish. — 2 years ago
