The fruit is quite forward but avoids being cloying thanks to balancing the fruit with abundant ripe, well-integrated tannin and high acidity. Had scents of walnuts, boysenberry and a bit of barnyard. The texture and color were both excellent and the flavors were full bodied spanning from boysenberry, through leather, and into seared steak. — 3 months ago
