"Edgy and full of flavour, the Prisoner is a bold red meant for indulging. On the nose, expect a bursting bouquet of bing cherries, dark chocolate, clove and roasted fig, followed by juicy ripe fruit flavours. Notes of raspberry and boysenberry with hints of pomegranate give way to a lingering taste of warm vanilla on the palate. A long, smooth finish lingers in your mouth. " — 3 years ago
This mencia has personality! Blackberry, boysenberry, violets, loamy earth, touch of stemmy greenness. Slightly rustic but it all comes tog harmoniously - really like this wine — 3 years ago

Machete and Team Fortress 2. Decent night. The last of my Christmas wine. …Gasoline, boysenberry, & blackberry on the nose. Sharp, almost tangy front. Notes of black tea & leather on the front. Plum, blackberry, & blueberry mid-palate. Tannic raspberry finish. Not quite as lush as other vintages. That tangy-ness sticks with you. Still beautiful, though. — 4 years ago
