Give this one a proper 1.5 hour decant, tight, needs to relax. Also deserves proper wine glass, I used a glass tumbler.
Enjoying by the glass, it was fun to witness it unfold. Tight, earthy, tannic, and not very expressive at the beginning, later a floral and raspberry note showed up in the nose. Earthy on the pallet.
9.1 for my experience, could achieve 9.3 with proper handling. — 3 months ago

Pretty fruit but with lots of grip. I loved this one. — 9 months ago
A med/med+ ruby-purple core. The nose is filled with mixed red to dark red fruits of cherry, blackberry, and currants. Subtle notes of spice come from the 70% stem inclusion and the syrah fruit. The highlight of the bouquet are these lifted and very aromatic floral tones that bring to mind violets and lilac florals, it adds an elegance and extra boost of complexity and draws the nose back a lot to get another whiff. On the palate, the wine is fresh, with excellent depth and length of flavors that sails into a sneaky, long, persistent and fresh finish. The acidity is more med+ than med, as are the fine, youthfully perceptible tannin. The body also feels perfectly in-between medium and med+. Delicious, complex, and a long, pretty finish, whats not to like? 92 now with potential up to 93 with a little more bottle age! — 2 years ago
100% Pais from different vineyards - some on volcanic soils, others on granite soils - fermented with indigenous yeasts and 60% whole clusters. Aged in concrete and oak for a year. Red fruit and iron notes. Light-bodied, savory, elegant — 4 months ago
Big and full bodied. Juicy plums. Long finish with tannins coming in at end. Almost a bit of a floral/herbal quality on the nose. Super good for the price. — 2 years ago
