Top Notes For
Juan Gil Jiménez first built his winery in 1916 in Jumilla, and passed it down to his future generations. From 100% Certified Organic Monastrell (or Mourvèdre in France), in chalky, stony soils, aromas of dark berry fruits and woody spice. Aged 12 months in French oak, palate shows blackberry and plum with smoky wood flavors and notes of cacao and cinnamon spice. Soft ripe tannins, medium+ ending with a light toasty earthy character. Great value! Very nice!

Feb 6th, 2022Jumilla keeps impressing me. This region is one of the best value for money in all of Europe atm. This one displayes ripe berries, spice, citrus and gravel. A touch of French wood to give it a a nice final touch.
