Bodegas Juan Gil

Jumilla Red Blend 2018

BIG Red Blend! (45% Monastrell, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Syrah). Specially produced for the U.S. Market. Wonderful balance, and the varietals beautifully compliment each other. Intense purple color. Juicy and ripe red and black fruit aromas and flavors. Additional hints of chocolate and spices with a slight herbal note on the long and silky finish. Awesome QPR. Great suggestion, Petey! — 19 days ago

Finca Las Moras

Los Intocables Black Malbec 2019

Erittäin täyteläinen, pureksittavan paksu suutuntuma, tummia kypsiä marjoja, nahkaa ja taatelia. Pitkä jälkimaku. Täydellinen grillatun entrecoten kylkeen. — 2 months ago

Enderle & Moll

Muschelkalk Pinot Noir 2019

Obviously way too young. 14.1% quite high for E&M. Classic perfumed nose, Give it 45 min in a big glass. High toned raspberry, cranberry, hint bitter, touch white pepper, orange rind, oregano, lime. Classic E&M. Needs at least 5 years. So light and elegant on it’s feet. A superb Pinot in every aspect and a class in its own. Will be a 10 in the future. Bought at Mayfield Restaurant in San Juan de Capistrano at lunch. — a month ago

Mas d'en Gil

Coma Alta Priorat Grenache Blanc 2016

What a wonderful Priorat wine estate is Mas d’en Gil. Not only the red Priorat’s are superb, so is this Coma Alta white. Made of 100% Garnatxa Blanca (Grenache Blanc) and from a great vintage. The Coma Alta is not as complex as it’s bigger brother Coma Blanca, but offer lots of nuances still, in terms of ripe white fruit, a bit of wood and vanilla, and a bit of spice. Great length! — a month ago
