Bodegas El Nido

Clio Jumilla Monastrell-Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2015

Was going to hold the 2015 for couple years, but a friend who came over the house for dinner is a huge fan of Clio, so I obliged to open one.
What can I say! To some extend it reminds me of Caymus. Like the style or not, it’s just unbelievably delicious.

Bodegas Ego

Goru Verde (Organic) Monastrell 2015

Deep garnet color. Excellent nose of deep fruity (cherry or raspberry?) minerality and dried leaves. Medium body. Pallet rich and dry, but refreshing, fruity (again cherry/raspberry) with hints of tannins, minerals, and fall leaves. Finish is long, refreshing. — 14 days ago
