This MI cab franc runs with the best of them. Our 2013 bottle now is noticeably better than 2-3 years ago. — 4 days ago

Savennieres is one of my favorite white wines as it offers a lot to explore!
I am getting bruised pear, sour apples, lemon, mango, ginger, minerals, herbs, minerals, a touch of honey and lanolin.
I possibly opened this a little to soon as it is missing characteristics of cheese rind and wooliness that I really like in a well aged Savennieres!
Delightful wine for a Sunday evening even if it is snowing in Davenport, IA. — 14 days ago
Very unique old world hybrid grape between cab sav and grenache. Decanted for a hour. Definitely needs air time and ideally paired with some food. Bright mouth watering acidity. Smokey black cherry aromas. Cherry, raspberry, mushrooms, and charcoal flavors.
Unique and worth seeking out. The Garzon Uruguayan version of this grape is another example to try. — a month ago

Smells: Wood stove smoke, something nutty / red meat
Tastes: makes me think of a really good deli sandwich, good bread with a healthy portion of meaty-ness, — 3 days ago
Very smooth and flavorful. More bitter than sweet but well balanced. Easy to drink alone or with a meal. Paired well with steak and grilled chicken. — 16 days ago
