Versante Nord Uve Bianche Terre Siciliane Minnella Blend 2023

I am always curious to taste more Minnella
This wine is rich and mineral
It would go great with swordfish
Honestly not my style
I find it to horizontal
I prefer a bit more freshness and verticality
Although it is a wine that reveals the territory that comes from

Finca Negra Reserva Especial Valle de Colchagua Carménère Blend 2015

Smakrikt -svartvinbärssylt, mörk choklad, plommon i madeira, kaffe, vanilj över en stöddig fastighet och syra. Bra till grillen ju. Prisvärt (121SEK). — a year ago

Marimar Estate (Marimar Torres)

Don Miguel Vineyard La Masia Chardonnay 2018

I would have hated this wine a few years ago, but I’ve learned to embrace some oak in California Chardonnay. Some melon here, citrus, minerals, vanilla, the oak is nicely integrated with the wine, I can dig. Paired with smoked wings. — 3 years ago

I made beef stew with this wine. Still rate-able, still California. — 5 days ago

Really enjoyed this one. Little bit of acidic but an easy drinker. Some saline. Classic style i would expect with an albarino

Pazo de Bruxas (Familia Torres)

Rías Baixas Albariño 2019

This wine has a rich yellow-green tint. On the nose I thought I smelled some oak, but I was mistaken. It’s all steel. There is an overriding salinity that mutes the floral, apricot and citrus aspects a bit. The palate carries that salinity as well. That, plus a racy acidity, makes me want some oysters with it. — 4 years ago
